If you’ve been around me long you’ve heard my soapbox! I think sustainability and being a good steward of our earth is one of the best things we can be! Shopping second hand not only gives us a unique and personal style but also helps reduce overconsumption and unethical making practices! We cannot do it all but everyone can do a little and it all adds up to make a difference in the world! So Im hosting a little up cycling class so more people can up cycle! In this class you will learn to
*sew on a button
*hem pants
*how and where to take in clothes
*how to repair a hole in damaged clothes
+ask any questions that I will answer to the very best of my abilities
There will be treats and we will have fun! everyone will get the chance to sew on a machine and by hand!
If you have a piece you want to upcycle bring it and we will discuss the best way to make it happen! We might even mend it in class if we have the bandy! ;)

This class will be in the Jackson Building on the Gainesville square from 6:30-8:30!
